About the role
Our companies book weddings across greater Miami, and we need video second shooters who know the area. Run a second angle at ceremonies and receptions and capture guest and detail coverage alongside a lead videographer.
Weddings in the Miami area run year-round, with the busiest calendar in January–May and October–December. Couples avoid the summer heat and hurricane season, so winter and spring are the busiest months. Our venue data covers 130 wedding venues across 10 cities in this market.
What you'll do
- Run a locked-off or handheld second angle at the ceremony and toasts
- Capture getting-ready, guest, venue and detail coverage
- Support the lead with audio setup and gear changes
- Hand off cards and logs to the lead at the end of the night
What you bring
- Some experience filming weddings or events, or strong narrative work
- At least one professional video-capable body and a fast lens
- Willingness to learn our house style and follow a lead
