Are these employee or contractor roles?
On-location and editing roles are independent contractor (1099) positions. You set your availability and accept the weddings you want.
Do I need my own equipment?
Yes. Lead shooters bring a professional kit with backup bodies, cards and audio. Second shooters need at least one professional body and lens. Each role page lists the minimum kit.
How am I paid?
You are paid a flat rate per wedding or project by direct deposit. Rates depend on role and market and are confirmed on your intro call.
Do you handle the clients?
Yes. Our companies handle sales, contracts, payments, planning calls and client communication. You receive a full timeline and shot list before every wedding.
Will I have to travel?
Most weddings are within about 60 miles of your home market. Travel beyond that is optional and paid separately.
What does "building roster" mean?
In those metros we are accepting applications ahead of opening bookings. Applicants there are contacted first when we start booking weddings in that market.
What does the hiring process look like?
Send your resume and portfolio. If your work fits, we schedule a short call, then book you on a paid first wedding, usually alongside an experienced lead.
