We are accepting applications from video second shooters in greater Washington. Applicants here are contacted first when our companies begin booking weddings in this market. Run a second angle at ceremonies and receptions and capture guest and detail coverage alongside a lead videographer.
Weddings in the Washington area run year-round, with the busiest calendar in April–June and September–November. Spring and fall carry the calendar, with summer weekends close behind. Our venue data covers 59 wedding venues across 6 cities in this market.
What you'll do
- Run a locked-off or handheld second angle at the ceremony and toasts
- Capture getting-ready, guest, venue and detail coverage
- Support the lead with audio setup and gear changes
- Hand off cards and logs to the lead at the end of the night
What you bring
- Some experience filming weddings or events, or strong narrative work
- At least one professional video-capable body and a fast lens
- Willingness to learn our house style and follow a lead
